Yo hows it goin I fianlly finished the EffectBrowser as you can tell from the topic which the progam its self i tryed my hardest to make it uber 1337 but you guys are the judge of that one so on to what it does


Just so you dont have to go to another out dated topic:

This program allows you to sift through pictures off all Explosioneffects and PRT's in the game i origanlly wanted it to have all effect but soon found out that they dont show up And now after 7 builds a failed harddrive and many other minor errors(my fault) Its DONE And im so glad that it is im starting to dream about code


Its Well put together and no errors to my knowledge it has 7 skins allready and 1 unlockable one( i aint telling you how though) So find the skin if you dare mwa hahaha. The program size is about 152Megs once unzipped and installed(YIKEs i know) but thats the price for good quality pics. All the images are resizable. The UI is simple

Just looked through it, and since I know it's your first app.. I'm going to go easy on you...

It was good, but:

-The text was a bit plain if you know what I mean..
-Bad interface, I found myself with too many windows at once
-Try to limit the Paint drawins (i.e. NO SHOW)
-For a v2, maybe try to keep it all in one window, use a different font, and make the list have a scroll bar rather than a directory.

umm.... link def works! very nice app i love it, cant wait to make some new effects! i would say for a v2 try to keep it in one window, i had the same issue as Munsie, but still one of the most usefull things ive seen posted in awhile. im going to get alot of use out of this!

Can u host somewhere else besides Rapidshare? If im not mistaken someone in this topic posted a Free Hosting site. Please try to stay away from rapidshare. its only good to the people who have a Premiun account. Which is too much money for what its worth. I really want to try this tho! i always have trouble with effects. now maybe this can help me. BUT I CANT DOWNLOAD IT!! ( sry bout the cap )
