Incompetence V0.2

Intro:
Why doesn't anybody use linux? It's fast, stable and reliable. But anyway here's the last version of Incompetence, for the one or two people in this community intellegent enough to use linux. I was too lazy to strip out some gui elements, so alot buttons don't work.

Running:

Should be pretty simple.
Make sure you change the files mode to executable
ex:

chmod a+x incompetence
./incompetence

There it should run....

Features:
Map signing
PPF 2.0 Application
PPF 1.0 Creation
String Ref Swapping
Dependency Swapping
Lone ID Swapping
Tag Explorer
Map Object importing(Improper & buggy, I dont suggest using it)
Meta Injection(Raw)
Tag Library Functions(Enough for now...)

In the future:
Nothing.

This version doesn't have any plugin support because I feel its more important getting my map rebuilder working. You'll also see theres no raw data injection for any meta. Theres a reason for that, I just cant remeber what it is....

I also included an icon if you want to set it as Incompetence's icon.

Forgot to mention, this is for LINUX GNOME/GTK. Sorry if your not used to the way I distribute applications,,,

Update(Not that anyone cares):
Added some things, fixed some bugs, still buggy as hell though.

I have decided to stop work on Incompetence(like I said, not that aynone really cares), And start work on a new application & library (Regret & libhalo2). So here's the last version of Incompetence.

Actually there are two more app I will probably release the source to and incorperate into Incompetence,

TagDump:
Recursively extracts meta and raw data from any map.

SCAMr:
Rebuilds the Map with the tag dumped using TagDump.

Oh I almost forgot, Im beginning the port of Incompetence to OSX twomorrow.

Wait so with SCAMr be able to rebuild the maps... like HMT? So we could use it to rebuild the map with the scnr, bsp, and all that crap?

you are a legend, i spend more time on linux than i do windows and this will be a big help, thank you, sounds awsome. What versions are everyone running? ive been using red hat and mandriva lately.

my suggestion is never port this to windows, unless you want 40000 newb questions, lets face it, linux users in general arent newbs, just a bit of advice to ya  keep them coming

im guessin, Xebian is a xbox version of Debian, does your version have the gnome interface? correct me if im wrong but i thought Debian was released without the X server as a standard thing and has to be set up. i could be wrong im not an expert on versions

Almost my exact reasons for releasing it only for linux right now, people who use linux are generally more knowledgeable.

And as for running it on the xbox, Xebian(I think) comes with the the X server, but by default I think it runs KDE.

oh ok, well im guessing it wouldnt be too hard to get gnome GUI on Xebian anyways. I've never tryed xbox linux myself but that would be very convienient not FTP every min to test out different effects.

anyways, great job man, love your work
