Um... I can't begin to fathom why anyone would be complaining about this ap being released. I, for one, am grateful for every contribution made to the community, especially ginormous contributions that lower the amount of work it takes to make a mod. I really wish people would quit complaining about how somebody else is "stealing their idea." Everybody has been wanting to do this to every single player map in the game since the beginning. It's not YOUR freakin' idea. Just do the best you can and try to make it better than anybody else (so you can get your oh-so-precious recognition for being a "1337 h4x0rr"). Or, to put it in another way, spend the time that you would be complaining on trying to finish the mod before anybody else if it's so important to you.

Who's mad? If you were referring to me I said I just wished he would've waited until larger conversions were possible (Unless that will take a long time) since all the beta testers are most likely already working on the rest of the small ones that are hopefully fun and good for gameplay rather than *gasp* fame.

I was looking through the bsp's last night and there are lots of areas in one bsp. So most bsp can be cut by using machs to block of certain areas therefor creating like 4 or 5 mods out of 1 bsp.

Yeah but most of those are too large to convert. Hopefully the next version of Entity will allow larger BSP Conversions.

Sorry if I misunderstood. Anyway, I'm glad it's released, so people other than the testers can work on conversions. I look forward to a version that'll allow bigger bsp's, but I don't think that's a reason to delay it.

Ok can someone write a tutorial on how to fix system link with this. I really want the mod I'm working on to be system link compat. So far the patches dont work...

Just go to the scnr tag in Entity, then right click the Predicted Resources Reflexive and click clone chunk and input how many chunks you want to add. Then close the map in Entity and open it in insolence. Go to the scnr tag and click the Blue text that says predicted Resources. then select the last however many chunks you added and assign them to the tags that need to the new tags you want to make SLC.

The patches won't work? Like if you patch the map you're using (dune or whatever) then inject the new bsp, it doesn't work?

no. When I used the patches it says error then something about the goof plugin. So I replaced the goof plugins and then it was a system error so I just assumed the patches dont work...

Seriously. Great job guys! I still remember how your first Damnation mod amazed us poke. You still do.
This needs to be linked in the sticky (top of the list).
I'd like to see more XBC mods and less projectile mods!

oooh. I found out. Ok whenever I check sounds, parsed, and recursively it all transfers. ... Dont know why but it does...

The patches still work just fine. You just have to use insolence to do all the goof tag editing, but you can use Entity to do the tag transfering.

IT DOSENT WORK FOR ME IT WHEN I TRY TO RUN THE EXE IT SAYS to run this application you must install one of the following versions of .net framework:v2.0.50727
