Now what do you mean by lens distortion. Do you mean like camera FOV and stuff? Or model and texture LOD?xbox7887 wrote:Sure, it will stitch in all directions...just have caution when taking pictures of close-up objects, the farther away you capture, the less lens distortion you get from the capture

would it be possible, to have a 2nd "skullmode" just like as in dev-mode.
so that you can toggle the skulleffects ingame. you could only run 1 mode at a time due to the buttoncombo's.
anyway toggle-able skull effects would be nice, and maybe there is a value in the XBE also for enabling the skull effects in multiplayer that'd be pretty sweet.

It's true. I tested that out multiple times. I wonder why lockout's snow disappears though. So far, thats the only known effect the SP skulls have on MP. I'd search for it in the map files, but I haven't clue where I would even look.MilyardoX2 wrote:the skull effects do work in mp(thats what I heard)
they don't do the same things that they do in sp, but they do edit mp in some ways(I've heard)
An example(not tested just gossip I heard): is that if you enable the black eye skull then it stops snowing in lockout.
Anyways, I've tested the trainer on around 17 xboxs (various versions 1.0 - 1.6) and they all run the trainer just fine. Heh, I also found out that you can mess with the main menu camera and look around the mainmenu.map BSP. Switch to deadcam (back+d-pad left) then devcam (back+d-pad right) and you will be able to look around the main menu BSP easily.
Also, I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd mention it. If you have two controllers plugged in, player 2 will (sometimes) gain control of the trainer's features, but it will affect player 1. For example, player 2 presses back+d-pad down to enable 3rd person, but it is enabled instead for player 1. Also, player 2 can teleport player 1, but when devcam is activated (by player 2), player 1 will be able to move the camera, but player 2 will have to press B+d-pad up to teleport player 1 to the camera's coordinates.

Hey I'm wondering why when you decrease game speed, the character animations and motions stutter as (I assume) you slow down FPS. Is there a fix to this so that character movement and animation stays smooth even as the game speed is decreased? I was really hoping to be able to use this slow-mo feature in a really tight film I'm producing...

Yeah Kornman00 gave me some code to modify the fps that I never got around to implementing...you might see something for it in the next version.Reyals_Bemus wrote:Hey I'm wondering why when you decrease game speed, the character animations and motions stutter as (I assume) you slow down FPS. I love your Yelo Trainer it is great but I really think u should leave the slc in for ai. we r going to really need it for when the ai starts coming. or maybe just put a trainer out for disable AU and the cinematic LODs and AI in MP. that would be sweet. then no one would cheat. but also wut about movie making? is there any way u could make an option for just movie(like a disable hud button and a film button) I'm just puting in my 2 cents for ideas.
It would be unbelievably kickass if there's a way to get the engine to interpolate the frames when the speed is low.Yeah Kornman00 gave me some code to modify the fps that I never got around to implementing...you might see something for it in the next version.
I've done some more testing, and when I use the trainer, Lockout refuses to load. Strangely, when I also tested Halo 2 by launching it off the hard drive (i.e. not via Xored) the trainer also started automatically. And when I tested the game from the DVD drive (in modded mode), it didn't seem to detect the downloadable content and autoupdate (though Lockout did load when I wasn't using the trainer) ...
In retail mode, things work perfectly.
Weird, to say the least.

Please, Xbox, if theres one thing you should do in the next version, it's please allow it to work in System Link. I was playing with it yesterday and it's so much fun I would go in a hog' with someone, then go into flycam, and then teleport to co-ordinate and then the hog would teleport to that area with the passenger
