Version 2 will be out sooner then you think.. The SLC Fixer is in tools when you open up the map it adds chunks to predicted sources so you should do it when you added everything but if you added more after you run it again it will find those newer ones! There will be alot more features like BSP Mesh Extractor and Injector with more options with BSP overall!

it's easy.. i think this is the 4th time i mentioned how to get rid of the clicking sounds in this topic..t_mann05 wrote:can someone direct me to the topic of fixing the clicking sounds in a bsp or tell me how to do it? thanks
BEFORE you extract a BSP. make a copy of the SP-map.. go into the SBSP tag you want to extract, scroll down, and null out all of the LSND..
then extract and inject whatever you feel like doing.. but null out sounds before extracting.. its not that hard to find out
Ah, I'd missed the "BEFORE" part and could never get the sound thing figured out.
I have one minor suggestion (though it may have already been implemented). It'd be nice in the bsp viewer, if you could manually type in the coordinates if you wanted. It would make fine tuning the placement of stuff much easier, and you wouldn't have to hit the plus and minus key a million times to move stuff in a big map like sentinel hq.

I have a feature suggestion - though its been a while since I've used Entity so don't get mad if this is or parts of it are already in - but you can point and laugh at me;
We should be able to have a window up with the properties of the selected object in the BSP viewer, so we can change what it is, and other settings like what game modes it spawns in (for when applicable), and be able to see its coordinates and manually type in coordinates to get it just right.

That works but somtimes has bad results in the BSP, the best way is too extract the BSP with sounds checked or not then go into the .INFO file and delete all Isnd's and snd! all the sounds in there (usually on the bottom of the list). Dutchmen I used to do that but it had some wierd effects somtimes when I first started testing....The Flying Dutchmen wrote:it's easy.. i think this is the 4th time i mentioned how to get rid of the clicking sounds in this topic..t_mann05 wrote:can someone direct me to the topic of fixing the clicking sounds in a bsp or tell me how to do it? thanks

Anyways new enity is coming along great should be up anytime now if poke doesn't stop messing with ASP on my web site but that should be great coding mainmenu to a web site... I'll mention some of those things to poke see what he thinks though..

I already posted how too I... The clicking is basically that you did NOT check sounds but enity still put sounds in though the sounds have no size and default to BR Dropping that is the clicking sounds just go to SBSP in dependencies and null the Isnd's..
Yeh, headshots the if you did it when enity was way back in beta it can go wrong.. The .info method is alot easier too....

Model Injection
Does Entity support any kind of easy model injection? My version of Dark Matter is quick literally broken, and won't. But since pokecancer was involved with my release of DarkMatter, and DarkMatter is supposed to do model injection, I hoped that entity could.

Re: Model Injection
Entity doesn't support it yet. Have you tried using Darkmatter Alpha, or Darkmatter Alpha fix? Those versions seem to work nearly flawlessly for model injection. (You can find them in the Brok3n Halo thread in Outstanding mods)jlddodger wrote:Does Entity support any kind of easy model injection? My version of Dark Matter is quick literally broken, and won't. and stop being annoying by everytime correcting me because you think your method is better..(its not the first time)
If nulling the dependencies and the lsnd out of my map doesnt work, do i have to start over and convert the bsp with the "sounds box" ticked?
