Yeah thats what I ment and didnt reallise that it was the size of the bsp :oops:

Is there no way to increase the size of a bsp?
Or could someone not convert a map the proper way and use the biggest bsp possible then everyone could use that to convert bsps???

i believe the meta shifting can't be done properly... its somethin unknown i think, but someone must find out :twisted:

^^I belive ADI can shift the string table and for meta table why would you need to do that? It's possible but kinda hard to do..^^

Is there a way you can input spawning points of say netgame equipment using entity with coords and all, or do you have to make all the spawn points of items with Insolence, then move the stuff around with Entity's bsp viewer? Do the actual items show up in the viewer so you can drag them and place them, or do just the spawn points only show up? can you drag spawn points around?
For the first one you don't need a goof tag just add cunks to the predicted sources tags hows that giving you a error? And for the phys just go to tools and hit Format Plugins and that should take care of the phys tag no problem.. Of course it views and moves all points from machs to player spawns and ect ...

The problem with converting the biggest BSP that it would take so much time it has so much raw.. Perhaps the update of enity might have therebuilder working for bigger bsp's but it's not looking good right now..

Whenever I use build my map always freezes on the setting up game blue label thing... Well i did build in 10 tags without sounds could that be the problem?

Theres not netgame equipment for Uprising and Regret... becaue they are SP maps, so how the heck can I open them in insolence? =(

And everybody who keeps asking what BSP is what... Play the *** Campagin once in a while.

Duplicate starting equipment, It will work and not affect anything.
I dont see "Starting eqipment"

I see "Equipment Palette" which is a list of all the weapons that will appear in the map.

and the thing that controls what weapon you start with is Profiles.


When I clone chunks for ANYthing, it gives me an error saying "Error Reading Ifp: sfx+"

You couldn't add anything if you couldn't shift the meta table, because the meta table is at the end of the file. If you tried to add any tag that had any form of raw data, but couldn't shift the meta table (section what ever)
then you'd be in big trouble.

This is a cool program.. i played around in it for awhile. But when I tryed to load a SP level it didn't work. Now I haven't read all 25 pages, but is it going to be able to later on?

Do you have singleplayer_shared and shared and mainmenu in the same folder?

I did my bsp conversion on waterworks......can i just drag down all the 2 way teleporters and stuff from up in the sky down to my map? will they still work?

Yes. But click on Collection and some of the bipeds have Teleporter Exit and Entrance so fix them in the same place as the teleporter scenery's.

scenarios\solo\03a_oldmombasa\earthcity_3b or should it be scenarios\solo\03a_newmombasa\earthcity_3b because in old mombasa 3b isnt there or is it just regular 3


but anyway I inject newmombasa bridge into waterworks and when I try to load the map I just get loading failed can anyone help me

i can view every SP BSP..

and this topic is not to be spammed with question how to do something with this program.. read through the pages please..

How many times have I said this? You can't inject bigger SP BSP meta then the MP BSP meta and the MP map can not be bigger 80mb even with working BSP's try delete the sounds out of the info or not check sounds....

How is the SLC fixer going to work with Entity V2? I mean how does it work....like does it automatically get fixed when injected, or is there goin to be a new button to push :)

Any news on when v2's coming out?

Oh, and is there any way in the BSP viewer to slow down the movement of objects when moving them, because i'm trying to get the Z co-ord just right, but it moves the object in a too big of a gap.
In v2 there should be an option to change the moving object speed.
