Suppose I want to add more respawnable items to a map. For example fusion cores in Coagulation. I was able to put fusion cores in place of the frag grenades, and they would spawn everytime they were moved or exploded. But I want to add fusion cores that spawn WITHOUT having to replace another item. Can this program help with this? And how would I go about getting them into the map AFTER I add the chunks with this program?

I just tried making a patch with this and the patch came out only a few MB's smaller then the modded map. But if you compare the original map and modded one there is only like 3 megs difference.TfAv1228 wrote:Hmm time to post my baby lol
here is a program that will make ppf patches for maps that have been made bigger by programs like this one its different then serenity because serenity deals with map compiling and from my experience it will not make patches correctly when this program is used so here
Coded by GlitchyGuardian using the MakePPF3.exe commandline tool made originally by Icarus/Paradox as the patch maker all rolled into 1 file
Is this supposed to make the ppf's this big?
Also I dont see anywhere's in the program that allows you to patch a map just make patches. Do we use the normal ppf patchers do add to the maps or what?

Yeall this just makes patches useing tfav's theroy of bigger map patching. i made the program pretty much for him. and it turned out to be a really nice little app.i use it when ever i add chunks to my maps, becuase the map gets bigger and ppp-f o matic doent like to make them right. this program does more than jsut run a command line prompt. it takes your maps and resize them to make the patch able to be applyed. it does this all in the backround and then cleans up after itself. it alot better than having to do all this by hand. one made just apply the ppf the normal way.
I'm back?
