thanks bro. heres a pic of where im at so far.
i had to delete alot of "junk" polys and whatnot to get here. should i not have? and whats next? do i have to go and extract all of the bumpmaps, textures, and bitmaps for the chief? i was thinking of just applying a chrome material to the visor and a satin mat for his exposed areas, but let me know what you think.

Be sure to import only one of the LOD's at a time
this would mean importing masterchief.0.obj-masterchief.3.obj for the smallest LOD and masterchief.16.obj-masterchief.19.obj for the highest LOD.
Only one LOD detail should be in a scene at a time to prevent you from getting to confused.
The procedure is basically the same for Miranda, but her model isn't quite the same (no LOD's) she has two uniforms dress and captain and a head model
something else to note is that all obj files are subdivided into smaller models, for miranda her eyes are seperate from her face etc.
ok how exactly do i import them all at once? like if i wanted the full MC model how would i do it

Place the modelLibrary in your Library folder that comes with ADI 1.2C(WB)ghost wrote:Somebody plse help me. What iron said to do doesny make sense.

No just add "ModelLibrary" (without the quotes, and no #) and hit save.
Then start ADI and on your bottom right you see a button, press right mouse button, and then "show more buttons", now you see the modelLibrary thingy

ok guys im sry about this noob ? bu how do i import the all of the files that u get when u extract a MC model i when i do it i get like 19 files or somthing and when i try to import one its just some tiny little dot thingy and i cant import anymore im using 3dsmax if that helps and yes i do have the obj2max thingy
any help is much appreciated

um coolz, i just got the extractor 2 work, i didnt no it came in peices
oh well, i wuz hoping to get a model for my screensaver on my xbox, the dashboard i have runs a rotating model as the screensavor and in can be made to anything u want.
I dont no much about models, and i i dont even have 3dsmax, just gmax
The model has to be a .x file, so how do i go about creating it???
