I get an error when I try to open my modded map too.
Halo 3 ruined everything..

i do not.. you must ve done some stuff with insolence (injecting / duplicating)... or else it wouldnt give you an error... thats the way i experienced it... anyway i can open my modded map with it, and it's coming along quite nice. working sound injection makes me happy and add nice touch to the map.. too bad sounds increase the map its size so much... try injecting the HLMT of elite with sounds, it made my map 123 MB :shock:

Alright this is my question, or should i say questions? I have 2 working bsp's that work really well accept a couple of things right now with one of my conversions i am getting this annoying clicking sound Actually both mods it kind of sounds like someone typing constantly i can seem to get it to go away. i search through the other pages of this thread and didnt really see it being addressed so i hope i'm not the only one with the roblem.
Second i am having a huge problem using the bsp viewer to get weapons and vehicles to spawn close to a player as a matter of fact the only thing i can do is get a player to spawn in the map so he can move around, and shoot and throw gernadeds but nothing else. if anyone has a small tut for these issues it would be very helpful.

Man this sucks :( I did all my BSP's manually before, now this is ahhh, lol. Well Halo2 modding is just kinda :cry: Now cause people are just doing 2 second BSP's...... All those BSP's done so far were 2 seconds.... and no one is adding anything else. Oh well :roll: I hope someone makes a good mod out of it... *Cough*ScottyGEE*cough*

Not on my laptop, on cousins, his internet is registered to only work on his laptop. And ya, that was one of the BSP's i did, i think ill release once i get back, but i have a gametype problem. I removed a death zone and the flags, oddball whatever, keeps respawning every time you drop it (ex: grab run, almost there, dropit/die , returned instant, you dont even see it fall......any help here.....Shade?
PS: Im giving credit ahead of time, thanks Shade for your pointer tool and for teaching me how to do BSP before pointer tool, you know, with the padding and cr4p :roll: lol

make a copy of your SP map..
go into the SBSP tag with whatever modding program, go into the dependency's... look for the LSND and SNDE tags, null those out...
open the map in Entity , recursive extract the BSP (with sounds)..
then inject and you should be fine...

and the BSP viewer works fine :wink:

OMG, wow. I never even checked to see if my poS computer would run he bsp viewer but it does! OMG! haha, i assumed it wouldnt since DM wouldn't but this actually works on my comp!

I'm running a p3 with an ATI Rage mobile 1 gfx cardd :oops:

Can this drag stuff over from other maps?Because in that one picture the guy had a hunter in gemini....And if so how?

If you're dragging and dropping, make sure you have Parsed checked.

Ok im trying to put the containment gate into gemini, And it's deffintly not working.....I tried checked parsed,and recurive on both.Still doesnt work..

Then clone 20 chunks in the netgame equipment and use insolence.

so i almost finished my map... the cloned chunks are proper as hell... cloning the predicted resources for fixing system links works also... i'm speechless only about the chunk cloner..
then i didnt even speak about teh BSP viewer :shock: niccccccce

You're right. I did inject A LOT of things. It's going to be a major pain to redo my mod, but I guess I will. :P
