I'm asuming that the BSP Viewers of both apps are coded differently.


DM's viewer doesnt work for me, due to my bad graphics card, however, Entity's does.

You find a spawn point using the BSP viewer and change it in any player spawn app.

...or you could just mvoe the object using the arrow keys and Page Up/Down.

WOW, i come back to halo mods about half a year later and look at all this. You guys are amazing, im thinking about modding again because of how cool this looks. I havent had time to fool with the program and i have a question, can it inject custom sounds such as music or other things that are not from the game?

Hes right, jsut some back up. If your in the new BSP, the spawns of the old stuff are gonna be on coordinates of the old BSP, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to find the old stuff. So basically the hardest part about convering a BSP is finding a spawn point, and the new bsp has some crazy spawn point numbers...goes into the 1000's

I have a problem. I click recursive and parsed, save, then save the file into a folder. I then open up waterworks, click build to map, click the .info file, and when the done box pops up, the single player BSP tag isn't in the map. The only one is that of waterworks. What am I doing wrong?

It doesnt add a BSP tag, it overwrites the original one.

yeah and if you want to check if it works click the sbsp tag then tools and click raw editor.

Oh, weird, because the first time I tried it, it actually added the sbsp tag, so I had two.

I have a few suggestions to the v2 (If theres a v2)
1.) In the sbsp viewer a move selected objects to selected cord.
2.) If the first one isn't implemented* A Object Lock option. This locks the object in its place so that you can't accidentally mess up something.
3.) A meta editor for each tag, Like in DM, H2x, Dothalo, And Insolence
4.) Faster stuff (I.E. The building, Loading the bsp in the meta editor, and the drag and drop)

These are just suggestions. The program is fine as it is, just pointing out things that could help a modder.

For some reason, I'm having some problems. Whenever I do ANYTHING with Entity, I fail to load map. Just a second ago I tried just moving the sword in gemini about two feet, I resigned with The Swamp Fox's resigner, then it failed to load map. Then I tried resigning it with another resigner, and it still failed to load map. I put the original Gemini back on my xbox, and it worked fine. No matter how small a thing I do in Entity(involving BSP or at least the BSP viewer) it fails to load. I was so excited about this amazing program. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong with me?

Ummmm... ok, I mean, these resigner's have always worked for me before, but I guess I could try that.

Well a couple posts back poke said that the program can inject bigger bsp which i tried and got no errors the bsp also showed up in darkmatters bsp viewer. I was wondering if any had any ideas why it fails to load instantly.
