how do I tell what needs to be fixed?

"Some IDs in th BSP meta are still linked to the left over tags, so you have to swap them to either the BSP, or the lightmap depending on which one it is(Don't worry it's pretty easy to tell them apart). "

That is what you need to fix. The ID's will either link to the old Sbsp tag or the old Ltmp tag, which you have to switch to the new tag(s).

Yeah some bsp's have like 300 of those its not to hard to fix though.. just do a replace search in hex workshop for that id and replace with the id for the new bsp..

I still havnt gotten a chance to play with this new update yet :( hopefully by this weekend i will.. then ill be able to help more with questions regarding the new update.. and maybe do a sweet bsp conversion :D

So is there a different way to fix the bsp raws than using the "fix" button in the pointer tool?

Hm... I might rewrite that part of my program, so it doesn't loop forever when it looks for the offset to inject the BSP... Won't be until later tonight though.

Which ID does he mean?

Is it the Identifyer of the SBSP? The meta offset?

Update: Added some code to (hopefully) ignore trashed models, hopefully this won't break it The rest of the program... And Added another bugfix where the combined BSP, Meta and index size wasn't big enough.(thanks pokecancer).

Ugh, insolence keeps freezing when its at Relinking ltmp when transfering the magical BSP tag

okay well I have all tags the sbsp needs besides the sbsp and ltmp in my map. UAT says its all proper and the map loads in halo 2 just fine.

So then I extracted the fake sbsp tag, injected it with the newest PT, then changed size and magic, and it screws up my map. No programs open it.

Also I tried going back (before injecting sbsp meta) and transfering raw data first, and its been sitting here for about an hour now.

You're supposed to inject the Conversion BSP tag, not the fake BSP tag.
Sorry I meant the conversion one. I was using the conversion one, and it still didn't work.

I wish someone would respond to my posts when i ask questions about this pointer tool that this topic is about.

Is it fixed yet or being worked on or what? Cuz it freezes when i press the fix button after injecting the bsp.
