The WORKING H2 Core and Guerilla!

Post by Eaton »

I have found the 3-7-07 release of H2 Core and Guerilla! Please note that I DID NOT make or edit this program in any way. I'm just uploading it. Anthony, Pokecancer, and Brok3n Halo made this. The newer version does not rebuild correctly and it makes a simple BSP Conversion and AI a huge hassle. This will make modding a lot easier because I know you all have been looking for one that will work. I have not tested it myself, but I am pretty sure it will function correctly. I will post a link. Enjoy! Please notify me if any of the links or mirrors expire and I will fix them as soon as possible.

I think this is worthless. no offence, but theres an updated version of this, I think this is the crappy one. the latest one was the 4-7-07 and we have that program in the pro maps tools. and someone already posted this already, look here. plz look around before posting before something gets ugly. thanks.

Some versions work better for some people. I'll leave this up because some people don't like the new one. And I haven't seen this download anywhere so it won't hurt to add it

What the smart man above me said, this is the best version for some people, and for some uses. I know nothing about the new one so I will not commit myself to an ultimatum.

I just wish they would make these programs a bit more stable. Hi Not-Zachary! Did these programs work for you?

yes, but the h2c takes longer, and the h2g doesnt have as many options as u'd need, like "copy all", etc.

but i get a correct-er rebuild :)

Hmm... Mine takes only like 10 seconds and half of the tags are gone. I'll have to try it again.

Its not that they don't make them more stable its that they can't do it. The only way to make a perfect or very stable app is to have the source code to halo, even then it would be very difficult.

I used to always get a working rebuild but lately I can't even decompile/rebuild a clean map without it freezing in black screen. Thanks but it still glitches, GERRRRR!   :x

I have tried about 30 conversions and only one worked. I know that it is very hard to make a program without the source code. That is why I test every little mod I do because I don't want to risk anything.

I once did a successful conversion with this, but I recommend using the new one if you can if you can get it to work properly. This one works better with computers, but the newer one is harder to work, but it can do successful conversions so try them both and see which ones work.
