Ahh its been almost a month since ive left, modded or done anything with halo :(

So I thought I would stop by and visit and see how you guys are doing until I saw this thread

Im very glad to see that someone is trying to make entity better. Yea its kinda confusing if your just jumping head first into it ;)...

Since I helped poke out with alot of the bsp viewer stuff and I know my way around ill "TRY" and help you becuase its been a while since ive even looked at the source :oops:

Visual isnt neccisary but hey its entity and entity is so kick ass mine as well have it :lol:.

I will add squad specific info once I learn more about AI. Mabey we could have even more to do with AI idk as of now

So yea umm if someone wants to fill me in ill be glad to add it :D

To be honest if you just look at the scnr plugin in meta editor or in notepad, the ai reflexive is pretty plainly explained. There is a char tag linked from the char pallete, the char links to a bipd, the bipd links to the model. Although when a vehicle is involved, including it's model could become more difficult. And the ai squads reflexive's first value is a string32, which could be used to tell which squad. My problem is that I dont know where it gets the stuff in the lower left corner of bsp viewer from.

Then things start getting really hard when you change the number that spawn, because you would need to write a whole bunch of code for those to show up in bsp viewer, but they'd all be one object.

Hey...I can't get the MapForm to work. It always says that there is a problem. Anybody know how i can get it to work?

Learn general C# coding... If you do that you could fix it in less than a minuite.

Or, you can actually help, not just tell him to learn how to program to fix it. Entity's source was released publically so people can learn and put their ideas into it... Maybe he wants to learn of entity.... And in the Entity 1.3 with source topic, around the pages 1-3 should be your problem. :wink:

.cs stands for csharp which was used to make entity..

srry but i need help. when i try to open ascension(first time using it period) it said menu not found or something close what's wrong?

That means it couldn't find the mainmenu.map. Just put the mainmenu.map in a folder with all your other .map files. :wink:

Very nice! I suggest that you should be able to choose the squad and spawning location to which you would like to edit.
