Should be:

Code: Select all

OFD.Filter = "Halo 2 Maps (*.map)|*.map"

Not to be mean... But you cant go from a 5 line of code Map resigner to a BSP viewer... BSP viewing requires alot more code.

Same with Building Objects into a map, though that isnt as hard in my opinion.

But for you i suggestto start off with value editing. :wink:

How about you just learn to program period first...

Don't just make apps from tutorials. You learn absolutely nothing in the long run. Then you'll be forced to ask for help and look back at(and use new) tutorials for the rest of your short programming career.

Use this project(Give Credit to Anthony) and learn the halo 2 map structure by reading the H2map.vb code.)

Then after you understand it all.. Check it all in hex to see if you know how to follow the halo 2 map. Then you can program your own programs fully :wink:

Or you can just use that and navigate to the metaoffset + value offset and read and write it.
