This program is really awsome! I have a few questions however, what can it do like give me an example or something. Besides anything that can be done with Halo Map Tools V3 I want to see what the new features are.

WOAH!!! this rocks! I think we finally have a tool to import vehicles really easily with...

Okay. What is the difference between this and Hmt3? It is quite pointless to make another program we must use to do the exact things Hmt can and is pointless to waste time coding.

The dependency swapper is the best new feature, in my opinion.
When trying to import items from one map to another swapping dependencies is a pain...this makes it freaking effortless.
PLUS, the dependency swapper allows more detailed editing of existing items....& great for meta duplicating.
Oh yeah, I also like that when you inject meta with HHT it doesn't leave the remaining bit of the old meta...it just clears that space.

wow xorange i didnt think anyone would notice that it zero's out the rest of the meta. The reason it does that is so it wont display false dependencies on the list hehe. oh and about the features that are coming up.... *cough possibly collision model extraction and injection cough*. HMT tag editor is gonna be incorporated. and some other useful tools are gonna be there. im still thinking about a built in hex editor.

This may be a stupid question but would you be able to like import SP vehicles into MP and actually make them look and work good?

it says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." whats wrong? or do i need .net framework?

several things:
yes, you need .net framework
no, I doubt it works for Xbox
perhaps I should rephrase this: importing vehicles from SP to MP is going to be easy for experienced modders; noobs will have just as hard time as ever (honestly, do noobs ever stop wanting to do this?!?)
yes, it can be used to import a vehicle from SP to MP and make it look good... provided you know what you're doing with this program. if you didn't understand the dependency swapping part from the moment you saw it, STOP using this program right away. PLEASE no posts like "how do I use this" or "what does this do?" or "This is too confusing, write a tut!" (seriously. if you dont understand, we cant make you understand.)
Deadly? um... this program is for dependancy swapping...
as far as I could tell, importing meta with HMT never did anything...
and for bugs... none found that were right out in the open; and Ive used this for about half an hour today.

Everybody started at a point where we didnt know how it worked. Everyone learned it though, it's not really hard to learn, just takes some time.

Btw is it possible to get an energy sword from sp to mp?And if yes, how?
Or if I think someone elses MP map has the right energy sword can I get it into another map? If so, HOW?

Hell...even this program will not let me inport a simple fallen log inside sidewinder. I followed all the tuts. HMTv3 is useless for it. This proggy will not do it either!
