I'm pretty sure I know why it crashes when you cross a loading point when possessing an AI. I have for a while now, and thought maybe if someone didn't know, I could maybe help with information that might be correct.
When you cross a loading point, the game has to delete the old bsp for a new one, and everything it contains.
1. It needs to delete the AI that you have possessed.
2. It just deleted the Master Chief- listed as the only player biped, I'm almost sure it thinks that you might have died or is just to confused.
3. Good news, for quite a while, I know a way to get passed crashing in cooperative mode.: One gets to be say an "elite" and the other is Chief, get Chief to cross the Bsp, the elite will load frozen. If it doesn't unfreeze the elite, get Chief to cross a different Bsp and your back.
Stupid I know, but that is the best I got. Oh, and nice work- I really appreciate it.
( does the script_cam and spectator_cam do anything yet?)

I like the AI delete, I did it on Pillar of Autumn, and Cortana closed the doors on me. Apparently Keyes died.
I like to mess around with the Invincible Marines, teleport behind hind'em and BAM! One of my first mods was to make them die, apparently it's still active.
Look who's the Invincible Marine now?!
Good Job on this, Thanks.

This is probably the greatest thing since... something else that was great, but I have to ask- will this be the only update?
1. One Shot kills would be nice.
2. I can't find a way to research scripts, how did you?
3. How exactly did you get those scripts into Halo1?
These questions are strictly optional, you don't have to even reply if you feel so. Still, congradulations on this awesome mod/script hack thing.
Thanks,
Preston556

I created an application to read from the script tables in the xbe and dump each scripts information to a text file. I've included the output for you to download if you wish. Also, I don't call the scripts directly, I merely steal portions of the code they call. And yes, there will be plenty of updates.preston566 wrote:2. Xbox has 56k last I heard so it would take forever, and it's against the rules to upload copyrighted material to the site. I would find another way to get the NTSC xbe.swepower wrote:ok, so if i gett a NTSC xbe. will it work?. if so can you upload yours?xbox7887 wrote:No, the trainer is xbe-specific, not region-specific. Just so happens to be that the PAL xbe differs from that of the NTSC
