[TUT]How to shoot AI's[TUT] .:updated:.

first of all do this tutorial:

You dont need to do that with sparkedit)
1.then open halo map tools
2.then go down to [vehi] and then klick "scorpion" and copy the meta code
3.when you have copy the meta code go to [proj]
4.klick plasma pistol\bolt and replace the meta code with scorpion meta code
To make you dont die when you shoot:
5.now go to [weap] and go down to plasma pistol
6.scroll down to triggers and select 0 in the drop down box
7.and scroll down to "X spawn Coord" and set 50 in the box
8.close map file and play halo
9.Done
edit:i mean press dont klick

How to get them shoot at you!
1.open HMT and open HMT again
2.press open in one of the HMT and open up b40
3.and the other HMT bloodgulch
4.go to actor (both of them) and make them same as marines actor
5.Done

ok...nice tut but it would be nice if you spelled correctly...klick??? and this tut was kind of self explanitory. and you didnt use my version of the tutorial

Y bother about batery , jus put infinite battery life for the plams pistol, if u dont know how to do this, well pm me and i will tell u .

Wilp, u might wanna look at the poster of the tutorials, lol. The one Andrew_b wrote is hassle free(no rebuilt) and is also applicable for vista users. But u can get only cyborg(s) who need brains injected into them. But the rebuild one come with AI who already have some brains.

Ok my tut shows you how to make brains too. and remember...the more you turn up their sight and the more you turn down the hearing...the more the suck

not true at all... you can set the hearing and vision both to a high level, and it makes an excellent AI... increasing hearing while decreasing vision does not make for a smart AI... they are just able to hear you better... but it is easy to sneak up on them if you don't make any loud noises (like firing or jumping)... if u make vision better but not hearing, the AI can see you for a distance but not hear you if u hide behind a barrier and fire a gun... my recommendations are to set the AI hearing too 175 and vision to 150 for a balanced AI.... then check off "always charge enemy in attacking" and "always charge enemy" (or something) in hmt, and u have a sturdy sure AI sure to stalk you down...
(and increase the pheriperal vision if u want to increase vision effective ness)
and there is also a better way of spawning AI... just replace the AI vehicle with a weapon and the vehicle will spawn in moments, so you have an stabilty of AI... if u fire the AI, you waste the amount of guns you can hold (unless u check off the option of "doesnt count towards max" in hmt), and you make it a safe game, because most likely you will spawn the AI in a scorpian, and 5 AI arent really a challenge unless you have boosted thier damage multiplier...

Ai's that use sight hit 1 centimeter away from you and go slowly left or right...

oops.... stupid me... though you should always keep both at a high level... suppose you pmi AI in an indoor map and fire a gun behind a wall.... they wont notice it unless their hearing is good too... vision doesnt overcome physical barriers
