How To Make Vehicles Leave Trails Of Fire

Well, I have looked, and seen people ask how to make the tires of vehicles leave trails of fire

And Since I just happen to know, i figured, why not post a tutorial on it.

1) Open up HaloMapTools version 3.5

2) Open up the map you wish to do this for

3) Find the tab labeled

Check your Halo ingame settings, in the video menu. It makes a huge difference on my card, if I set the detail to low I get nothing, on highest I'm riding around on a cloud of flames.

I use a slightly different tag to PIE and swap out smoke generic anim1 in the [part] particle tag list. This replaces the dust cloud raised by the hog with flames from the burning flame tag a bit lower in the [part] Particles list.

There are pics in the pc mod topic, and thats on low setting!

thats a cool tutorial, but i want to know if u knew how to make a cliff mod on trial version, i have the full version but... i make mods for trial also, so i just wanted to know if u knew how to make it so u can get on the cliff (like teleport on the cliff) on trial if u have any idea please o please tell or if u have anyone who does know i would like to talk to them. my AIM/AOL screen name is onehottj15 i also have Yahoo messenger, my screen name on that is onehottj15

Get into your warthog tires tag and then at the bottom change it to sand(or whatever) and change the effect path to the flamethrower char tag.I can't explain in detail i'm on vacation right now.So just you know that it is also possible for HaloCE

yes its a very nice effect.Yoiiu have try it on snow that looks kick-assing

when I do it all I get it black smoke coming from the back of my vehicles. Even on the highest setting

awesome took me a while to get the copy paste meta thing but i got it sweet
