B. Stop going around calling peoples tutorials crap, If one doesnt work, look for another. There are thousands of AI tutorials at halomods and other sites.

wasnt looking for a flame war seriouslt this tut did not work cuz he didnt say what files to add plus multi I know you....princeofbealir told me all about you...

im out of modding untill i find i skill i can build for a career

hopefully flash or something that involves working but im getting off subject...

I hope thats a good thing lol. Sorry, it really did look like you were looking for trouble with your post, and your other post on the other tutorial. But seriously, just say whats wrong with the tutorial and say no more. Do you know how long it takes to compile a tutorial like AI? It may not look like much but it is and when you call thier tutorial crap, that can be very stressful.

but im sorry fi it doesnt currently work.. it worked when i did it and maybe the HMT and HHT tools have been updated to newer versions that might need newer tutoirals...

I read it and it seems to look like it should work. Maybe he just did something wrong, he did in the last tutorial he posted in.

maybe their using trial halo or something....

which reminds me someone should get their buts on finding out what kind of files are in halo3 so we can have a heads up for modding it

Nah man I'm on full halo the problem is,...well you said use ALL the files for the elite and well I was trying the elite commando so you know, same thing just slightly different, anyway I didn't know what you meant by all files and then everything I rebuild the map I get an error in HMT and I was mad like OMGWTFBBQ sorry for calling the tut crap v_v...so in other words I stoped and couldn't continue at step 13. so yeah...also glad to see you're still here and the mods is the beginning of programing I think man stick with it. I am, why next year in my junior year of high school I am going to a special school half days for Computer Service, even thought that is just for hardware and software mainly but still it is a close jump.

If you follow it word for word it'll work perfectly (except the model has a weird look at different angles)
Next I'll make tons of ghosts for like an army >.>
Btw how would you make different enemies in the map at the same time...
Like grunts and elites and some flood and maybe even marines?

I got a minor problem.
The elites shoot and dodge sometimes but they dont walk around. How can I do this?

Awsome, babel is back :D

Try going to the bipeds in Hmt and look over in the box to the right. IF you downloaded Phenomenas 56 f'ing plugins, there should be a crapload of options for you to choose, go through those and maybe you can find some of them that will make the AI smarter.

It's been awhile since I've done ANYthing with Halo so I'm starting over
in a way.
Also....
I think this is being discussed but...there IS a way to have AI spawn without swapping vehicles, right? Maybe if you swap a ghost for a spawn point >.> idk

um, im just gunna guess try going into HMT and swap the biped's hex with that of a rock. Then get the rock in spark edit and super duplicate it for an armY!!!!!!

making the elites move around is possible with hmt. go here!

making ai spawn without vehicles is only possible in ce.

kk i followd this and everything goes good till i try and load the map mister exception comes knocking on my door insted of using the elite i used human flood combat is there somthing special im supposed to do for them??????? :x :oops:
