(tut) How to PMi a wraith, C-dropship, peli

this is my first pmi and i pmi'd a wraith into bloodgluch and it came ptu but with some stray verticies when i loo kat it in angles?

what did i do wrong?

hey, i know this is a bump, but i really want to do a successful PMI (this will be my first) so where is this
Add the completely unmoded deathisland in the build folder as well.
I looked and looked for it, but i cant find it... if anyone could help that would be great. im doing pretty good so far. Its around step 20 that he says that, but idk where that is. is it in the regular halo directory?

meaning add a unmodded deathisland either from your maps folder in the halo pc directory or a backup deathisland

Thanks, that worked. But now when i Add all of my stuff and click Build i always get an exception with HMT....most the time it says cant access cuz Buildtree.txt or somethin are being accessed at the same time. So now i need help w\ that.... :lol:

I added c_dropship to gephyrophobia, it works fine...just how do i fix the camera? I am inside in back of the thing and i cant see where im going...in the pelican the camera is fine, so can i switch the c_dropship 3rd person camera to the pelicans?

btw i replaced scorpion_mp with my pmi wraith (same map) and it doesnt appear... :x
and the barrier that stops you from going inside the pelican troop bay, how do u remove it?

While you're at it you should make the wraiths seat scorpion-driver cause it looks so much better :P

now everything worked as planned, until when i loaded the map i PMI'd the things into i got an exception

Sorry if i bumped but to fix the tree error when rebuliding, [most likely happens when creating map index], just go into the batch extract folder>Levels>Test>Icefields>Scenery>Snow tree tall or something like that (look for keyword: TALL) and open that. there are six files, 3 meta and 3 xmls. open each xml in note and find and change any spot where there are two slashes in a row to one. save.
REBUILD.
NO ERROR.
Im back? Yay!? :P

cause if you add everything Halo gives you bonus points.

Seriously though, you're better off doing what mano's saying.

It's much easier to just add the "source tag", the one that references all the others (ITMC, SCEN, VEHI, ACTV, etc.)
