Heres something else. If you have a trainer and want to put it on.
Turn it on, AFTER joining the game. And just to make sure, I am a Male.

changing your firewall settings will not do a thing... the only thing the exceptions on the firewall does is allow halo pc to access the internet and host games

You guys should seriously listen to him

The exception errors pop up ingame because there is something wrong coded into the map, aka something was improperly modded making the map file corrupt, and implayable. So this message pops up when you can not play the map any longer, there is no avoiding it unless you go in and change the coding of the game which is not possible (its not possible to get rid of exceptions is what im saying and what HaloKiller is saying).

Um, an exception is just having a tag reference a non-existent tag, and/or corrupted.
Firewalls have absolutely NOTHING to do with it.

They just want to live in a fantasy world that Exceptions can go away.

Edited and now up-to-date.

Exception handling is a programming language construct or computer hardware mechanism designed to handle the occurrence of some condition that changes the normal flow of execution. The condition is called an exception. Alternative concepts are signal and event handler. -Wikipedia

The events initially originate from actions on the operating system level, such as interrupts generated by hardware devices, software interrupt instructions, or state changes in polling. On this level, interrupt handlers and signal handlers correspond to event handlers. -Wikipedia

Instead of you guys reading two small paragraphs, I will sum it up for you, in one BIG paragraph.

A exception is basically when data cannot sync properly. When something is interrupted. As you should know, a firewall/anti-virus blocks certain programs and doesn't let the thing go bye. If I get a mod that changes gameplay, the game will see that it isn't normal, and reports it towards the firewall, and that what causes a exception. I can play Halo with firewall turned on, but when I load up a modification, I usually get a exception, so I have to go and unblock it through my security programs.

I never had trouble with exceptions when I was new. Figured it out on the first day. Still, this should help.
