Unfortunately, after some research, I've found that attachments than reference weapons will not sync over other xboxs.
Thus my tutorial does not work ;_;

However, this is some helpful information so I'll leave it rather that have it deleted. :wink:

very nice tutorial. Glad to know this one works (plus it is much more detailed).

I thought people knew about this a long time ago. I did but forgot where the old tutorial I found was. It was way when Insolence and DotHalo ruled the land....

I managed to rig that wall mounted gun rack from 01b_spacestation, the one with that bar that slides up, with working weapon attachments so I'll make a tut on it sometime.

Very nice; now tell me how to add an attachment to a destructible bloc and then spawn it through a projectile swap without my game freezing xD

You mean the Obstacle placement is'nt there?

What map are you using?
Are you using the [scnr] I posted?

im using burial mounds, and yes, i put both ur plugins in my entity. any clue whats up, or am i just not able to inject it into that map? if not, its all good, this is easy to do.

Well, i did it and it works. Very nice. Much better tut than 'the other one'.

Now my question is, why is it that only host xbox can pick up/use the weapons in it?

I don't beleave that map even has an Obstacle placement reflexive so you'll need to bring it from another map.

Thats a good question.If the weapons are attachments the same way turrets are,why can non host use them?My guess is vehis have a higher "priority" then weaps.

Im sure we can assume the problem you have was the same for bungie when making relic.

Sorry, I would've however the forums won't allow my to upload files, as in the option doesn't even come up. >_<

I'm also looking into why weapons attachments don't sync...
