Gears Of War - Hammer Of Dawn (no model)

Programs required:
-contrail editor
-entity
-dot halo

1. Open your map with dot halo and go down to the sentenil beam [weap] tag.

2. Swap the projectile with the wraith_mortar_charged

3. Open the tag editor and make the x spawn 5 and the z spawn 20. Also, give it a 4 second charge time

4. Open your map with entity. Look for the [weap] tag again diplay the idents. Find the- tyep [0] and swap it with tracking_locking which sould be at the bottom

5. Open the [proj] tag for the mortar_turret_charged. Null the airborn detination and swap the standard detination and type [0] with shell_explosion.

6. Now open the contrail editor. Look for mortar\projectile. Make both the upper and lower color: Red=255, Green=75, and Blue=0.

7. Sign and enjoy.

i had an idea, try using the Tank shell, but dont hav it just the one projectille, hav about 10 tank shells, no spread, awesome damage looks good, another thing that works is having a burst on it, like, a 50 round burst at RoF 15 i havent tryed that yet, but im going to

Looks very ausome 8), but do u know how to make it so when u shoot it a long distance it doesnt arch, but instead come straight down over ur target. U know like on gears of war

Not possible I've tried to get it to work. But besides, the satalite can't always be directly about ya.

OK thanks man I did change either the x cor. or the z cor. cant remember, to 40, that made it spawn a bit further out in front of me. 8) Oh yea Ausome mod keep em up!

is the x spawn really neccesary? I just mess with the Z coord when i make air strike/hammer of dawn type things. When i aim and shoot..it goes where i aimed it and works fine. also i use teh gravity thrones projectile...i like the look of it better

If their wasnt any color changes then you deffinantly didn't do something right. Did you use the contrail editor?
