Seamless Texture Tutorial

Well, I suppose I ought to post this for those who don't know. Some will care, others won't. If you skin, however, this is a MUST for doing it right.
It's all about making seamless textures the right way. I'm through seeing tiles made with little effort. The seams a nd the patterns hurt my eyes greatly
.
Let me know what I could do better. I have never written a tutorial before, so if it doesn't make sense, PM me or post it here.

Ever try posting there? Go there, hit "new topic," and let me know if you don't get "Sorry, but only moderators can post topics in this forum."
Good job, though; way to keep on top of things

Excellent work Chad! This could prove useful for me with some of those harder textures in future.
One thing I'd like to get across is; skinners, please use this in future skins, I beg of you. Like Chad, it gets very tiring to see that a potentially great skin is ruined by a user just randomly slapping a texture here and there and calling the tiled map they've created a "skin". If this is used, it will not only improve your skin's quality but also, more downloads and greater feedback by far. Take a look at greennc's, Chad's or even that foundation skin I made...They each go over one page in positive comments as they are not just sloppy skins.
Ok ok ok I'm done...But to make it official[/rant]

Wow. Now hopefully we can see some awsome skins coming from everyone, not just the usual people.
Awsome job. I was working on something like this for PSP, but I don't think anyone else uses PSP to skin.

When people have improper spelling and punctuation it bugs the hell out of me.
Great tutorial! I will use for sure in the future! Never made a skinned level because of the problem of aligning brushes in a tile pattern...
