Heres a small tutorial on how to get fog into the a map without using the backwash fog and it also looks better!

1. Find a Map with fog on it somewhere. The fog can be below the map (lockout, ascension) or in the water like headlong and zanzi (also maybe coag im not sure). For some reason if i do it in a map without fog it doesnt seem to work.

2. Drag the Main menu sky into that map.

3. After it is finished go to the sky tag and double click the main menu sky then go to Unknown 5. Click the 7th Unknown down in that column. This is the Fog Thickness. change it higher to get it thicker

4. Now go to the last unknown. This is the visibility meaning how far away you can see from a certain position. I believe the default it 15 but i may be wrong. change it lower to get less visibility and higher to get more visibility.

Haha reminds me of my old mod Hunters in the mist on ascenesion I made the fog close to the person and you canouldent see very far, I didn't like it

So I didn't use it

yea i didnt know if there were plugins or not but it looks as if a lot of people didnt know so this could help them

Well if you want me too I can improve the ifp so its not Unkown this and Unkown that, so its easier to search around in.

Ok, I updated the IFP a little for you guys having a hard time. Even though you really shouldn't be.

Unknown 5 = Fog Thickness Values

7th Unknown in the column = Fog Thickness

Last Unkown = Fog Visibility

Omg it is...lol.

But for me, I didn't have to rename it...but yeah I guess you could rename it if you wanted, just overwrite both ones.
