[vid tut] adding teleporters

this is a quick film on adding teleporters(short but shows how to do it).

its not hard but some people just cant figure it out so i made this vid.

if someone needs a more detailed video, i can make but its not that hard to add teleporters lol.

What format is this vid in? I tried quicktime , realtime , and windows media and none of them work and in wmv you just hear music no video.Any help?

Yeah, it didn't work for me in Windows Media Player either, but it did in VideoLAN, a free media player you can download here: http://www.videolan.org/

its rared up so firsted un rar it then u goto get the avi codec if u dont alrdy have heres a place to get

nice video was short and to the point..if anyone is having probs viewing it i used VLC media player it worked fine for me

does it matter what bind you use and does the bind have to be the same for both the exit and entrance? and this works for maps that dont origanally have teleporters on them right

your program is mad i've made teleporters on each old map , and edited nearly each exit on old / new maps that have teleporters already)
(you cant actually make teleporters on new maps , only edit the existing exits, since they fail to load all the time)

i've been workin with ur teleporter adder quite a while now..
but cant figure out how to make the 2nd teleporter
also i cant seem to get it working on maps that have teleporters already (for ex coag, i tried in so many ways (adding chunks over existing teleport reflexive, adding chunks all over but none of them seem to be working)

for ex i made one on ivory tower:

1. i first fill in the fields before adding 1 chunk over reflexive 1 i fill in the fields like u :

0 , 0 , 0 , 7 (entrance), 9 (bind)
2. add another chunk with fields filled in like this over reflexive 2:

0 , 0 , 0 , 8 (exit), 9 (bind)

it works just fine when i fill in right coordinates using XapienC2, but when try to add a second teleporter one thesame way i did, it doesnt work.. (tried it in like 10 different ways but still no go)
kinda weird, also it doesnt let me add another one on a map that does have teleporters already..

help is needed.. im not too formiliar with adding chunks, but i did in it such a way and in so many different ways that i'm confused about your program if its working proper, also when u duplicate something in insolence your whole spawnpoints get messed up...

** also i've noticed that the bind isnt always identical on maps that have teleporters already for ex warlock the bind on there is like 0 - 1 - 8 , those numbers but those bind are also in use by oddbal spawnpoints?? its really confusing the hell out of me..

but really i dont care since it's workin over XBC and it's great i luv u for it
**now i need to know how to make a second one on ivory tower to get back in the map (you can go out the map now, but u cannot go back)(also i've tried like 5 times to make another teleporter on top of the map, in different ways on different spawns , with different binds, still no go)

Yeh, testing that on XBC was fun stoner, you just would see nothing and walk through it and be like, "oh my god!!!!". Nice job high6. Thanks for letting me test them stoner. Hope you will like my new "Sachel Attack" mod. It will have so many models and skins, you will drop to the floor in fear. :D Liked this program, im not too good at adding chunks but understand this, nice job.

stoner4life have u tryed the following...

1. adding 4 chunks
2. fixing them to the spots and having them as following

i think u need to add all the teleporters at once. and warlock has binds of 0-7 because there are 8 teleporters(2 ways are made up of 2 teleporters)

make sure ur also using the next avilible bind instead of some random number like 34958. so its easyer to figure them out.

it will not work if u have 4 teleporters with the same bind because it confuses the game.

it might have got something to do with how i add the chunks indeed.

yeah i can't get either of your videos to work and i have wmp winamp divx and nero, none of them recognize the file type, what are you using to watch them?
