OK I am doing exactly wha is told. I put the patch for the map, then the original map, then output map, another copy of the original from DESKTOP...NOT WORKING! mmmm....when I choose the Waterworks.map (map I am modding) from a different directory, different folder, It says file already exist, do you want to replace it? Yes, Or No.
Do I have to SIGN the map also? I do that and well, yeah...still nothing. I am confused!!!!

Ok lets say you wanna patch water works with The Hive. Heres hwo you would go about doing it:
Open Serenity and put a clean waterworks in output. Put another copy of the original map in original. And then put the patch the you got for the map in the patch. You thenpatch the map. And yes you will need to sign the map.
Also, if th emap contains skins or some thing sare renamed then youll need to format your X,Y, & Z drives.

Um, well, this is no use now cause I accedently formated the E:\ drive. Yeah, is there a way to fix that. The .maps, all of them, are still on my CPU, but nothing besides the mods and stuff exist on my Xbox.
Anyway. A clean map file would be the .map file...One without any modifications to it. And output map, I use the same thing. The maps are skinned so is there an extra something I have to put or do?

the whole problem is sig not serenity or patch. i finally found on the boards by metal mulisha a nice one. u need a updated encryption signer otherwise the map won't load.

When I apply these things to the mainmenu.map and fill in the main menu info if it's not already there, can I use any type of picture or only .dds?
EDIT: I'm assuming only .dds because there is no drop down thing for 'all files'. So how does one go about making a .dds file?
EDITx2: I have tried everything to get serenity patched maps to work. I'll outline the steps I took and see if you guys can help.
1.) Put the patch in the first box...put the original map in the second box....and in the third I select the desired directory and type the name of the new map.
2.) I then enter the name of the map in the area for the main menu. No description or image.
3.) Click apply and it successfully creates the modded map and edits the mainmenu.map file.
4.) Sign the modded map with the TF6 thing.
5.) FTP it and the edited mainmenu.map to the maps folder.
6.) Clear cache
7.) It tries to load for a long time and then it goes back to the normal pre-game lobby saying I failed to load the map.
What did I do wrong? It seems like it should work. I've tried it over and over again to no avail. Please help...
