[Tutorial] Getting Almost Perfect Models In-game.

I don't mean to put down this wonderful tutorial down but there are alot of steps missing, I had to go through 3 UVW tutorials just to figure out you need to select one at a time for unwraping to work. But then I have 3 choices, one of them is labeled "face" I click it and no extrernal window comes up at all. Now naturally a good tutorial is made for newbies if you will, and should require almost no thinking in following the steps. Here is the line I think needs a bit more explaning. I had my friend attemped to do this and he said he got stuck at the same exact step. Without more detail to this step I cannot contenue
EDIT: I am not sure if I'm doing this right but will it work if I click unwrap UVW for each object and then go to tools and click mirrior X axis?Then when the models is complete and UV mapped you need to go into the UV editing box and then go to edit, select all, then Tools and click flip vertically and move the UV into the blue box again.

This tut looks like the same one on entity forums. This knoledge has been running around for a while now, I just thought this would be easier (which is somewhate) but it requires knowing how to use 3dsmax which It took me a day to learn. this tut rocks none the less.

litle help?
I followe the tutorial. I can see the wepon in the map but when i pick it up it becomes a regular smg instead of my modeled is that supposed 2 happen?
