OK, im having the hardest time ever changing the mainmenu to load new maps ive modded.

Before i wiped my HDD clean (on my comp) i had a program (i cannot remember the name of it, but it was one of the first to be released, and it has since been "discontinued")

now every program i try using to change the mainmenu either doesnt work, or its confusing as hell



any reccomendations?

If I download maps from this site, are those maps already resigned
or do I have to resign them?

I have done all the steps of modding the old maps but when i go to overwrite them it says transfer failed any way i can fix this?

Alright, this may seem like a weird question but for some reason after I applied the ppf patch (it was a little change to some weapons) it worked great the first time. I changed maps were I also applied the patch and that worked great to. I then went back to my original map and now the patch dosn't work. The only time it works after that is if I clear the cache.

any suggestions.

For users using XBMC (Xbox Media Center), try this meathod:

1) Start up XBMC.
2) Put in your Halo2 Disk.
3) Go to "My Files"
4) The left side collom is the origin drive, the right is the destination.
5) Select "DVD-ROM drive [DVD]" in the right collom.
6) Select "WORKGROUPS (SMB) Network" ---> Select your workgroup (default is "MSHOME") ---> Select the network your computer is on.
7) Now in the left side there should be a list of all your "Shared" directories on your computer, now simply select the one you want to copy yor files to.
Now go back to the left side and press the "Y" button over ever File/Folder you want to copy (this should highlight is yellow).
9) Press the "White" button now and select "Copy" out of the drop down list.
10) Select yes at the "Are you sure you wish to copy these Files?".

And thats it you should be done!
I copyed the entire disk in under 30 mins, hope you have the same luck as me.

Optional:
1) Create a new directory called "backup maps" and copy all your map files into it.
2) Copy the ENTIRE disk, for future referance (simply press the "White" button and select "Select all" from the drop down menu).

I got it to work every time now. I don't know if it's since I've cleared my cache or since I Signed the maps. Either way I'm happy.

now your referring that as if we mod to cheat. Now now now thats not we lil crybabies here do. We mod the way halo was meant to be or the way it shouldnt.

That actually means that you are not connected to internet on ur xbox ... like if you have Xbox Live then you have an ethernet cable connected to your xbox thus you have an IP adress... correct me if im wrong

When I FTP, I plug in my cord. On screen it says my IP is 0.0.0.0.I wait 2 mins later it says 192.168.1~, all I have to do is wait.
