I put the containment map on the hdd where i found it.

You need to get DVD2Xbox to get games on your HDD.

the xbox hdd isnt biggenough to do it is there any other way

Delete everything off your HDD. It's a tight squeeze, but it works.

how can i apply this without putting the game on the hdd?
the containment map is on my hdd already. I dont have enough room to put the game on my hdd

Gah.. i'm another cluesless soul here.

I'm trying to put descension into my xbox.
I've gone up to the step where I use ppf-o-matic to patch up the original map, but when I choose descension it gives me:

This is no valid ppf file.

Help please. ^^;

to mr dragone....
descension has no ppf patch...just rename descension.map to ascension.map and send it to ur halo2 on ur xbox hd....thats it

if u are using evox to ftp check your settings. you might have changed it.

That brings me to another thing when i try to make an Evolution-X boot disc my xbox says "the disk is dirty blah blah" message

I'm having trouble FTPing into my Xbox. I've got Evo-X and I've already have Halo 2 on my hdd. I have changed my ip on evo-x to one # away from my PC's IP, but still it won't work. Also I'm using a Router and I don't have a dcph switch either. And please don't tell me to go to Xbox-scene.com cuz that doesn't explain everything.

I have a question, how do you play modded maps for the DLC (containment etc.) maps?

I ppf'd them, encrypted them and everything but when i try to play them, i fail to load the map.

do you need to put them in the maps folder, or do they work in the Tdata folder

Any suggestions?

what is the process for me to move them so i can apply these
ppfs that are coming out for them so i can enjoy the new mods for these maps...

I dont have a real mod chip but i downloaded a soft mod. would that work as well or should i got get a real mod?

Yes a soft mod will work you just need halo 2 on the HD.

i am having the exact same problem as chaos... if sum1 knew what to do i would be so thankful the i might donate 10 whole dollars to a foundation of some sort like "the cancer halo playing pateints of america"
