.:: Tutorial: How to Apply Serenity Patches ::.

ok.... im gettin really frusrtrated.... i downloaded the Deep in the Water mod and serentity v2.... (first of all ur tut is wrong cuz u say click on the apply tab and then at the end u say click "generate patch" when that button is under a different tab... ) but anyway i set up all the patch stuff (DeadintheWater[ascension].serenity) and the source map (ascension.map) and output map (Resident Evil.map...... (its the acsension file but i renamed it) and stuff then i click the APPLY PATCH button and it says complete..... but then im having a lot of trouble setting up the mainmenu thing. I go to setup then set the folder where i put the mainmenu.map file and then i got to the mainmenu tab and type in the information and everything... but then in the tut it just stops... what do i do from there.. do i re-apply the patch? or what? adn then what about after that? do i have to replace the original ascension map or can i just put in the Resident Evil.map that i named alaong with the newly edited mainmenu.map and it shoudl work?.... please help me

read Iron_Forges post in the first page,this program is completely self explanatory. If you cannot learn how to apply or make patches maybe you shouldnt be using his program. Its not for stupid people without minds to use

Well i pointed out that the tutoruial ha flaws in it. I used to be able to make patches perfectly adn everything but i never learned how to apply a MAINMENU thing. I don't get how to do that becasue the tutorial, like i said, doesn'tcover it. It jsut breifly mentions it and doesn't give any help as to how to make one.

ok thanks... I actually meant serenity but I found it and I totally screwed up >.< I need to find a mainmenu.map I screwed mine up without making a copy... I can't rip it off a h2 disc since my dvd on my xbox is broken.

Isn't it possible to make a Serenity patch of the original mainmenu.map? If that's possible could you send it to my email?
