This app may seem confusing at first, but it gets easy to use after a while. Basically, what it does is makes the final stage of releasing a mod easy.

What this is intended to do:

Open a forum (using the website browser)
Resign a map, if necesary.
Open Serenity or SPPF to start patching a map.
Create a forum post for your mod while it is patching (with the Forum Post Generator)
And if you wanted to, also create a tutorial to post with the Tutorial Generator.
And finally, post it.

What each item does:

New Text Document - Creates a blank text document you can use, just as you would use notepad or wordpad.
New Forum Post - Easy-to-use application where you fill in the blanks that apply for your mod.
New Tutorial - same general idea as the forum post, only it is ment for making a tutorial.
New Webpage - Opens a blank webbrowser you can use to navigate to any website.
Open Document - Opens any selected text document, forum opst, or tutorial post made by this application or any other word-processor.
Open Webpage - Opens a website that the user types in.
Serenity - Opens Serenity, a Halo 2 map patcher.
SPPF - Opens Super PPF, another halo 2 map patcher.
PPF-O-Matic - Opens PPF-O-Matic, a map patcher for Halo 1 or Halo 2.
PPF Studio - Opens PPF Studio, a patch maker for Halo 1 or Halo 2.
Resigner - Opens a Halo 2 map resigner.
Stringer - Opens Stringer, an app I made that allows you to copy the internal filepath for a tag in a Halo 2 map. This is good especially for making a tutorial.
Locate Apps - Locates where you downloaded Serenity, SPPF, PPF-O-Matic, and PPF Studio, if you have them.

Other great features:

htm gen - If you have your own website that you edit using html code, then you can click the option for post generator called Generate Web post, which takes the same information you typed out, and puts it in html format!

double-click - Set your .txt, .pgt, and .tut files' default launch application Texter, and whenever you double-click one of them, it opens up straight away to the text editor!

Resigner is now just a one-click process

Change MDI background image (There is a bug with this where if you have windows opened up to the point that the scroll item is used, the image gets a little messed up. )

Also, each application has its own menu provided, except for a few, such as the resigner. So, when a window is selected, a menu item named after it should appear right next to Help.

Also, this is still just a beta app. (The true main purpose for releasing it is to see if anyone actually would use it.) So, tell me of any errors that can be fixed, or features I could add that would make it more worth downloading.

Ok, for everyone to know, we talked about this before the release. We agreed that should anyone say that either of us copied each other, it should be known that we never even knew that each other were working on an app of the same kind. Although mine is really clean and has a good UI, his has many many more features, so halomods users can use either program with no harm to anyone.

Why would anyone of thought you had copied? All it is textboxes and buttons :?

1. UI needs a massive improvement.
2. Most of its been done before.. better.
3. That tutorial browser just doesnt work..
4. Again the UI..
5.

Ugh, the overall post is very bland and boring visually :?

Im suprised actually that something like this would even have a beta stage.

Wow, way to rub something in his face. I'm not sure whether this would be classified as flaming or criticism. So what if you are better at programming? I'm glad you are better than me at a video game....

Ok, a few things:
1. A few of these things were NOT done before. Actually, I still fail to see any other app that allows you to create bbcode and html code, using the same form.
2. The UI is undergoing a massive improvement. This release isn't really for the UI.
3. I don't see whats wrong with the tut gen. Ya, it sucks visually, but its not that bad.
4. Ya, its not really just a bunch of buttons and boxes. There's effort put into both mine and his, and I don't see why you have to complain about either of them.
5.

Was that really a necesarry ccomment? I have been working on this for a while, and there is a lot of good, helpful stuff in it that some people might find to be a good thing. I mean, I know the differance between constructive criticism, and rudeness. This DEFINATELY falls under rudeness.

i didn't see mention of that in the post...you might want to include it since its a unique feature

on a side note the output is fairly boring, you need to make it a lot more interseting to look at or a persons mind will wonder

Ya, I did mention it. And, I am changing the text stuff. It still is, after all, a beta.

Hey, I think you forgot about the person who was testing and finding bugs for you. ;)
I find this a very useful app.

Umm looks cool.... try to move away from these types of things... I mean I have notepad, Mozilla firefox and microsoft word for a reason(Notes, WebBrowsing, and Tutorials).

I also already have SPPF, serenity, and everything.

Its good that your programming, just try to move away from these things unless you can pull it off extremely professionally.

Also you might wanna work on the UI.

Programming has nothing to do with being good at a video game.

Ya... and, I didn't really put them in the d/l. You put those apps wherever you want, or wherever they already are for you, and you use Help>Locate Apps to "tell" the app where they are so it can open them when you click on its Tool strip menu item.

I wouldn't call it professional, but I would call it better than a nub could do. (like using the application.startuppath + "/sppf.exe" and having that ***load of folders that just HAVE to be right next to the app.) So, ya. I am still just learning with VB. I do most of all of my coding for learning and for the fun of it, just to see what I am capible of doing. Honestly, I don't like doing stuff with Halo 2 maps. Its not fun. It feels more like I am working, considering the fact that it has to do something new and exciting, and I always have to look something up in order to find out how to do it, and most everything there is has been done before.

Oh, and I also revised the postgen's output (not in download), so if anyone has a problem with reading the first couple of posts where I say I am revising the output text, here is a visual:
