Hey New Age I felt your pain lol. You put it in the File Formats folder. I was confused, too, since my BusinessEdition had just 1 plug-in folder but now that I have PS 7.0 I had to try a couple out. Hope this helps. GL

P.S. make sure PS is closed when U add it or reload it after so it can configure.

I have the same thing (photoshop cs) dont put it in any of the folders!! copy it then go to plugins and paste it there ( there are ten folders in your plugins directory, the dds file should be the only one out side of those folders, INSIDE YOUR PLUGINS DIRECTORY!!!! :D That should do it

All you have to do is put it in the file formats file and double click on the dds plug in. It will bring up photoshop. If you go into file, open you can now use the dds plug-in  :P

Works fine in PaintShopPro 8 :D - just put it in the main Plugins folder.

But can you do something about the popups? Every time I Browse a folder of dds files, I get a popup tellimg me about MIPS for every pic, and it's slightly beyond annoying

Did you put it in the "Plug-Ins\File Formats" folder? If that didn't work, I can't help you.

Is this compatible with Photoshop 7.0 for Mac? Is there a program or plugin with which I can accomplish the same thing? Note: I have a PC, and I use Halo PC, so I could run a windows dds converter or something, I just don't have Photoshop for windows.

Thanks
