odd itsays that i cant import obj files it needs 2 b wings 3d files can anybody help me

To import .obj or any of the other supported formats (.ndo .3ds .ai .fbx), go to file and import, and choose the right file format. To save your .obj as a .obj, use the export feature. it's not illegal i got a 3ds max 7 that i thought was a trial and well it is but it still hasn't ran out after 2 months.
