Can't connect...
Okay, so for the past couple WEEKS, I haven't been able to connect to JUST my cousin. It will let me connect to ANYONE else, but him. I've looked around xbox.com and microsoft.com and all they've said was to reset my router & modem. I've already done that, didn't help for shit. So, I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if you were able to fix it, if you could help.
(BTW, idk if this is the right spot for this, haven't been here in a while, and things have REALLY changed.

Re: Can't connect...
If you connected through a router have you tried changing your MTU on the router?

Re: Can't connect...
The Xbox Live service requires your home network have a certain Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU). While this technical detail can normally be ignored in home networking, MTU values are important to the performance of online games. If this test fails, you can adjust the MTU setting on your network router or equivalent device to resolve the problem.

Netgear Wireless Router, but I'm using a wired connection off of the router.

Re: Can't connect...
This might help if you don't know where to go to change the MTU.

If this doesn't help then idk on what else to do.(I'm more familiar with linksys routers)

Re: Can't connect...
Are you on Satellite Connection? I use HughesNet at come (sucks by the way, avoid if you can), and I'm having the same problem you are.. however it's a problem that I spent days working on, and eventually figured out, after calling all the highest people on both Live and Netgear that cannot be fixed.
