Creating XNA games.

Post by Yamagushi »

Just wondering if anyone here has started getting into this? I'm interested in starting out with it myself.
Don't be.

I've looked in to this but bit off more than I could chew. I'm going to try and get back into it and start smaller.

I was going through some engine tutorials early on in the XNA era. It was going well, but my interest fell off as I began to shift my focus to other projects. I intend to look more into it when/if I can register for the free XNA subscription for students.

My Computer programming class is working with C# 2005/XNA for most of the semester. We're doing a top-down shooter of some sorts, I think. I was hoping to do some kind of 3rd person shooter, but our teacher says it would be way too much work.

I havent downloaded it, but I was looking at the forums today and saw how easy it was to have networking in your games, so if I do get into games programming I will start with this for sure.

Made several games..

Will work on one of them for global release, when that finally becomes possible.. annoyed that the up-coming beta is US only.. ;(
