They need to either:
1) Make the single player longer/have more replay value.
2) Make the multiplayer a
lot better. I dunno why, but Gears' multiplayer just wasn't really that fun to me.
Or maybe both.

definitely the first one. Campaign needs to be much longer. I enjoyed multiplayer. Infact I played some a couple weeks ago. Its still fun.

Awesome.
Yea, I also didn't enjoy multiplayer that much. But the co-op was fantastic.

I still don't have GoW, but I played it, and loved the multi-player. Can't wait for this one to come out.

Ah I need to rent the first game before the second comes out, I've only played the first level and a little bit of multiplayer. And yeah, I agree, the multiplayer just wasn't so great, the parts I did see.

Wow, that Unreal III engine looks absolutely amazing. I am looking forward to GOW2 very very much now.

November 2008 though, hopefully I'll still have a chance to play it at some point. Not going to be nearly as active at that point, I won't be in HS anymore...

^Yeah, it's a trilogy too.
The trailer was kick ass, I hope to God that the flipping the chainsaw will be a feature in the game. Now I got three games to look forward too, Vegas 2, GTA IV (Just want to mess around for the most part), and this.

I thought the trailer sucked...I was more impressed with the water and the release date...
I also agree with GTAF

Sort of doubt it. Maybe if two people chainsaw each other at the same time some sort of "Sword Clash" will occur, but I doubt in normal gameplay you could flip it like that. Unnecessary.

I loved the Multiplayer to death. Muuch better than halo's IMO.

I disagree. It could very well just be in there. If they felt the 5 second chainsaw cutscene when you kill someone was necessary, I don't think they'd have a problem with a variation where he flips it and killed the opponent.

I just figured it to be along the same lines as the "classic" cowboy execution style where the cowboy takes out his pistol, swirls it around his fingers a few times then blasts the enemy. If the whole movie consisted of the cowboy dude shooting all his enemies like that, it'd grow tiresome and unnecessary.
Just opinions though, can't really argue opinion..

Agreed. I'll probably end up buying it whether or not they do those things anyway.
