Turok entered stores 3 days ago and based on what i have played...its amazing (personally). we are all people who love run n gun games and turok is one of those games. so much blood and dino chunks makes me enjoy this game. the storyline is very well planned out and is extremely indepth. the game is very tough even on easy and though you think the bad guys are the only things to worry about the freaking dinos can eat you...that is unless you can stab them in the skull and kill them first...even in multiplayer.
Based on my game play i give this game an 8.2 out of 10 and i wish for you guys to pick it up and check it out if you like these games. also listen to the music its similar to the original n64 game.
leave a comment about the game if you have played it

weapons are awesome all have secondary fire except the sniper online play is smooth and violent you dont just have to worry about the enemy but the dinos on some maps as well. the game is good and bloody. MP is from 8 to 12 CTF, assault, deathmatch and FFA. maps are balanced from small to large lots of cover and always something to kill. hey theres a guy...heck use a flare on him and have the raptors attack him.

Haven't bothered playing the demo, probably won't. I might just rent this. I'm waiting to buy Vegas 2. =D

I'm renting this but due to it's shortness and lack of re-playability won't buy it. It reminds me of Far cry sneaking through the jungle with a knife ^___^

Did the saw blade boomerang thing make it into the game? Cuz that was my fav weapon in the N64 game.
It would be nice if it did, with real time cuts, oh that would be sweet.

Love Turok games.
Played this Turok's demo.
Hated the gameplay.
Decided to buy DMC4 instead.

What was wrong with the gameplay? Or why did you hate it?

Yeah sounds like what I'm thinking.
Except I can't rent anything until I get a car (and a job), which may not be for awhile.

It was boring. It didn't have the intense action I would expect it to. It was more like "Oh, dinosaurs and guys. That's nice."
Oh, and the knife sequences suck, a lot. I want to swing the God damn knife, not get to a certain range, not too close or far, then go into a cutscene I can not break from but I can still take damage. Yeah, that's nice. I have no control over my knife, and I can still be shot while locked in a sequence.

see now i disagree replay to me is pretty good theres always different ways to take the bow and pin a guy against the wall by the head and its not the same knife over and over again cinematic there are different styles and its not all about the knife its about the bow and the sniper rifle, the lock on with the RPG is so much FUN!
yeah try it before you buy it, have a bunch of your friends get it too and play private matches first its a ton of laughs like halo was but dinosaurs mixed in. if you havent tried it i wouldn't say anything cause its all about experience.
