Whice one would be best?

rock band or guitar hero 3, i dunno cause guitar hero 3 is cheaper but rock band will be comin out on the 28, but rock band also comes with drums and mic and im confused wich one i should get

Guitar Hero is a guitar, played by yourself or with other people with a guitar.
Rock Band is a band, with multiple instruments played by multiple people.
Choose whichever you want. The two are very different, and to compare them wouldn't be very accurate.

The idea behind the two is very similar, it's just the methods of playing them are different. I agree that it's a personal preference, not that one's better than the other.

Don't forget Rock Band is not that much more, I believe they said 140 - 180 depending on the system? Just reminding you, neither is really better, it depends what you want to do. Are you going to just play the guitar? are you going to play the drums? are you going to sing to yourself in your basement? Haha no offense, just playin.
