Looks very interesting. I'm not playing it though, don't want to spoil the experience the first time I pop in the game.

Just preordered it today online. And now I see a demo is available, might as well download it. This is gunna take awhile...
EDIT: Anybody elses download freeze? Mine got stuck at 73%, so redownloaded it and it's stuck at 1%. Is the marketplace down...again?

The Demo was great, but a little too short. If I get a chance, I'm definitely picking it up. The control scheme is great and the effects look real nice.

Larry Hryb (Xbox Live's Major Nelson) chatted with Ken Levine on his podcast about the BioShock demo.[17] The demo contains the first 45 minutes of the game. It is a tweaked version that is different from the retail game - more weapons and items from later in the game were added in the demo to give players a taste of the full game.
The demo has now been released for the Xbox 360 (8/12/07)

I tried the demo last night and I was pretty impressed. I'll definitely be buying this game when it comes out.

I just have one question. Is the aiming an issue, because as far as I can tell there is no crosshair or gun sight.

The game looks sweet! I just hate how it takes about a half-hour to download the game, and you only get like 5-10 minutes of game-play

I've watched videos of it, and it sounds like it has a mediocre storyline with bland gameplay.
