connecting 360 to my laptop

my laptop gets wirelessinternet, meaning i have an empty eathernet plug in my laptop

i try to connect 360 to it and i enabled sharing, but still couldent conect anyone know whatim doing wrong?

You need a crossover ethernet cable to do that.

I used to do this at my friends house when we had lan parties and didn't feel like running ethernet cables through the house. When using the original Xbox, it did require a crossover ethernet cable.
