Halo 1 vs. Halo 2
Halo 1 vs. Halo 2
I'm sure there's been a topic before regarding this but i'd like to see everyone's take on which they like better and for what reason. There is no reason to yell at each other or make rude comments about one another. Just state your opinion and please dear god have some kind of backup information to defend your thoughs/ideas. So show me your take on one or both of the games.

Halo 2 was a little better then halo 1, becasue the tank reloaded faster and could climb over wraiths, it would have been nice if they made halo 2 graphics on halo 1 engine and made the warthog invincible again, also, halo 2 did not have enough warthog driving in it, but the level where you drive the tank across the bridge almost made up for it.

Halo 2, because the assault rifle was the only weapon needed in halo 1 and you happened to start with it O_o. Also Halo 2 has recoil, and halo 1 doesn't, which makes halo 2 much more difficult

/\/\/\/\ Bunny rabbit ftw (He likes halo 2 more also O_o).

Halo 1's campaign is fantastic...The sounds and music was just awesome, so many memorable levels (essentially all before the swamp).
The Hog physics were outrageous and the fact that it was invincible made trying to get it in blood gulch bases with one grenade was always hilarious.
Halo 2 is good for its multiplayer, whilst I could get owned for it, it was just really really fun to play..Its customaisation and variety made it really fun to play with with friends... System link events went for many hours.
Oh and I always hated the Assault Rifle in Halo 1, I thought it was a weak excuse for a weapon, hardly an awesome feeling when wielding it like you get with the weapons in halo2 (bar the pp, magnum and smg

Halo 2's SP was boring and dissapointing cause I wanted kill marines while playing as the Arbiter, though it was harder than Halo 1's SP. What I hated most about Halo 2's SP is that it was unbalanced (ex. 3 BR wielding marines vs. 1 PR weilding minor elite w/ 4 PP wielding grunts, the marines will wipe that Covenant squad out in no time), but I love the things that where fixed, like the scorpian tank wasn't innacurate and the marines weren't pussies. Halo 2's MP was good though.
The things I hated about Halo 1 was the physics. Halo 1 had the most innacurate weapons I've ever seen in a video game, and the vehicles were frustrating, especially the ghost.

Halo 2: While its Arbiter campaign section was a disappointment, the multiplayer has fewer glitches and no leading shots makes it much easier for new people to pick up and play. Bad spawns happen, but less frequently.
Halo1: Pistol was stronger (perhaps too strong for me, almost sniper-like) and multiplayer deeper. Tougher as far as difficulty, and multiplayer altogether strong, although bad spawns sometimes. AA is less, requiring better aim, leading shots a bit tough. Lucky-ish in my opinion.
