It would be done by two different teams, as most XBLA games are..WaywornMmmmm wrote:On the subject of Banjo, I'd rather them focus on the new Banjo than a remake.
Has there been any XBLA title released on the PC?TomClancey wrote:Hopefully it'll be a PC title, as well.
Nup...Said by Rare it would take away time from Threeie, so they are not doing it.Tural wrote:It would be done by two different teams, as most XBLA games are..WaywornMmmmm wrote:On the subject of Banjo, I'd rather them focus on the new Banjo than a remake.

I hope they at least offer a "standard" controls option with dual analog/thumbstick/whatever it's called support...I don't wanna hold down RT (or RB, whatever, point is trying to play Goldeneye on an emulator with a 360 controller is horrid) and move the left thumbstick to aim around, nostalgia factor or not it's fucking dumb.Tural wrote:The original project was a port. I would dislike a remake with updated technology and such.
:/In the next issue of Xbox World 360 (caps lock alert: ONSALE NEXT WEDNESDAY - THAT'S THE 27TH FEBRUARY!) you'll find shots and hands-on details on one of the biggest (and most confusing) gaming stories of the year. Read on for more...
Maybe you think you already have all the answers - but have you seen this shot somewhere else? Or do you know what the Right Bumper does? What's become of the Jungle? And what about the multiplayer maps? Tune in on Wednesday to see the whole thing explode. There'll be no satisfying conclusion... but maybe, together, we can take down the whole system. Or, er, change a few minds.
(Oh yeah - and tomorrow? The whole picture.)

The cancellation story was not hype, it was fact. The project was working, and it was canceled. As I proposed:Pyroman wrote:I remember something about this...

Oh god. PLEASE let this be just a way to hype the game...PLEASE.
But yeah, it's looking pretty bad right now, with the whole "No satisfaction" and "change minds" thing. This is shaping up to be an exclusive story on the initial progress, not on a renewed status.Tural wrote:Could it be that public outrage actually got this game back on track?
