The orange box or Halo 3?

I truly can't wait for Orange Box! It looks better than Halo 3 imo.

orange box if for 360 and pc i don't know if it will be on ps3 though.

i for one did not enjoy halo 3 at all i would have rather had a massive halo 2 expansion set with new weapons and vehicles and maps and kept playing halo 2 until they could come up with something worth while.

the orange box's long term playability is what's going to give it an edge. with 5 games 3 of which brand new and one of them online multiplayer you'll be hearing alot about this game. also knowing Valve, they'll make a few expansions or have a massive amount of downloadable content.

Im going to take a guess and say that the gaming sites will make Mass effect or Bioshock game of the year ;p

If its out of them both, itd be orange box, due to the "innovation" of portal

Sounds like a fun game, but only for 10 minutes, then the whole funny factors wears off.

Note: This is just how I believe The Orange Box will be. I have only played Half-Life 2 and it was a blast. If it turns out that the game is bad (lol), I retract my statement.

Valve worked on Team Fortress 2 for 6 years.

And? Valve was also working on Episode 2 and Portal at the time, as well as providing content updates to all their other games. Time doesn't mean anything.

Production time means squat..

A game that took 5 years could be just as good as 1, it's simply dependent on the finances available, etc.

At any rate, is the Orange Box available for purchase in the flesh, i.e. can I go to Wal-Mart and buy it there instead of buying it off steam. Better be, actually I don't see why it wouldn't. I guess what I was talking about was the package, like if you added all the contents up it'd be over $100... In other words, geh, can I go to wal-mart and bring home literally an orange box with all this shit in it for $50?

Umm. The three half life's say for 20 bucks each (really cheap). Portal for like 40 (really cheap) and team fortress for like 40 (really cheap) it's still only $140 dollars.
