Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, or if this is the wrong place [please move or lock if it is], but does anyone mod any other games besides the halo series?

I recently started modding the SNES super mario world.

If my computer's graphics card wasn't useless now, I'd still be doing stuff for CS:S.

Super Mario 64 is fun to mod. I don't do it much anymore, though.

If Action Replay counts, then I mod Pokemon.
I also mod Fable and that's pretty much it.

Some times for fun I'll make a Red Alert 2 or Generals mod, but nothing really serious. I've dabbled in World in Conflict, Supreme Commander, Crysis, Half-Life 2 (Source engine games in general really), World of Warcraft (UI mods, GM tools for private servers), Doom 3, Quake 4, Ragnarok Online (mostly UI mods, a few custom sprites/items) aaaaaand that's about it.

Project64 is great.

I actually don't mod anything; I kind of gradually stopped modding halo after a while. But I had a ton of PC modding knowledge, I just got bored because I could never come up with an idea for a good mod.

How do you mod the Super Mario Bros games?

Well, first I googled how to play donkey kong on your computer. Then I found a nintendo SNES emulator. Then I found a bunch of game torrents. Then I googles super mario world modding, and found a site that has programs and tutorials to edit the SMC file.

EDIT: I'll post some [leagle] links when I'm on my other computer, it has them bookmarked.

Indeed. Then grab Toad's Tool 64 and the ROM extender here and you're set. Note: Must extend the ROM before editing.

I used to mod GTA: SA on the PC and Xbox. It was really easy. I even made a mod to change the katana into Cloud's 6 piece sword from FF7 Advent Children. :D Half-Life 2 (PC) and a little bit with Pokemon game Roms.

Halo 2 Xbox, Halo 1 Xbox. Making one's sniper shoot auto and screwing with bitmaps got old fast.

I like were actually make the content; not modify it. That being said, I love seeing mods.

Oh yeah, I modded GTA 3 some. Just random tweaks though, like vehicles stats. I remember making the tank crazy fast and light and just driving all over the city blowing things up.

omg <3 gta modding. Scripting was so fun.

Super Mario World modding is some of the most fun I've ever had ever.
Check out SMW Central, if you haven't yet:
http://www.smwcentral.net/

But jesus, all the GTA games, all the half life games, Halo, Red Faction, SMW, Max Payne, Rogue Spear (lol), Abuse <3...

Now that I think about it, I pretty much mod every game I have to the extent that I can.
