I miss gmod and wiremod. I made some really cool things with it. I'll have to play again sometime.

Okay, Update to the update unborked everything. I tested today and I get around 300 ping from paraguay to houston, tx. Playable, but not ideal. SOMEONE FUCKING JOIN.

This game ownz sooooo much. But I don't exactly have the "real" version of it, so I can't join "official" "steam" servers... I can't discuss it on here according to the rules though. But I think you know what I mean.

I'd play sometime. Also, does anyone know how to improve the framerate in TF2/Portal/Halflife episodes? I run everything on the lowest settings and it still runs pretty poorly.

Video Card? DX Mode? And have you tried installing the latest drivers?

Considering I have less than $50, yes, $10 is too much. Plus I don't have HL2 (or any game for that matter) installed on "real" steam.

And Wayworn, what graphics card do you have? I would check for driver updates, and if there aren't any (and especially if you have integrated graphics like me), this blog is something I stumbled upon when trying to figure out how to make HL2 run better on my integrated graphics. It's awesome; I went from a peak of 10FPS (usually about 6) to a peak of like 60FPS (usually around 30).

I have a GeForce 6150 LE card. I searched for new drivers and downloaded one, but I am not sure if I already had it.
