Final Gta4 Trailer Released

Post by Yamagushi »

Xbox360Fanboy.com wrote:Moments ago Rockstar Games released the final trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV titled, "Good Lord, What Are You Doing?" (aka "Everyone's a Rat"). In typical Rockstar fashion the trailer teases audiences with free-roaming open-world gameplay where Liberty City itself is as much a character as the people who inhabit the mean streets. Set to hit stores on April 29 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, GTAIV is shaping up to be one of the finest games of this generation. Hopefully when the dust settles from the hype when it hits we'll be able to see if it actually is as good everyone expects it to be.

Still not buying it. If I wanted to play the same game over and over, I would have 100%'d Vice City two more times.

Hey hey hey hey, they've really reamped this game. It's the same principle I guess, with the third person, the killing, the guns, the what the fuck ever but they've really 'upped the ante' with this. Not trying to tell you you're wrong or any shit like that, just saying.

Shit load of new features.

Such as? (Excluding multiplayer.)
It still lacks any emotion in the story. The stories always fail to grip me, which is a big make-or-break point when I consider a game.

Oh...story. Yeah, the games always lack when it comes to that. I don't know, I guess I love the detail they're putting into this game. A whole big city you get to explore and fuck around in, complete with labeled streets and actual addresses for businesses, restaurants, etc.

I know you said not to mention Multiplayer, but the fact that you can have 16 players freely roaming around the entire city is really awesome to me. In this one, the Police can actually work on your side. They proceed after the agressor in a crime or shootout or whatever. You can surrender or resist, you can call in squad cars, ambulances and fire trucks. I guess I just like that it's a lot more realistic.

The many uses of the cell phone and how it impacts gameplay: managing your contacts, interacting with them, utilizing the internet, etc. Oh, and they created over 100 fictional internet sites for the game. The new engine they're using makes player movements and animations much more realistic. The leap from GTA: SA and GTA IV is huge (as it should be, considering the upgrade from the original Xbox). It's just that everything has improved - including the story, though like you said, it is pretty weak and is nothing compared to Halo or other games. Name something and I can probably tell you how they've upgraded it.

I am tired of being in a giant city with the ability to roam\kill\have with sex with hookers. Honestly that shit is hella fun, so when you tire of rolling out of cars at high speed, beating up pimps and ho's and shoot up the po-po you are left with these ridiculous missions which aren't fun anymore.

OFFTOPIC

Like I said True Crime had all of this plus the pretty decent storyline the ability to get neat cars and weapons the ability to free roam, Missions were fun an Unique and they had the 16+ person online shit. AND CRAZED POP STARS TRY TO STAB YOU WITH DIRTY SIRINGES.
