Crackdown and the Halo 3 Beta
They're not really that bad, but they can be annoying.Tural wrote:I concur wholeheartedly.WaywornMmmmm wrote:The Shai-gen are a **** though.
I beat the game yesterday, the ending surprised me, it's a pity it wasn't expanded on more.
Violence is not the answer, it is the question. The answer is yes.

some scripted Boss AI would be the best update...
that, and a new car, nuke launcher and possibility of have 5 star stats
I hear content will be free for it too... Very good compared to Sonic team with their sonice the hedghog ("like we didnt finish developing the game, you pay full price for it retail, then we make you pay more for the things we forgot to implement later....")

I hope they really expand on the ending.Tural wrote:Developers have had many talks about adding a lot of content via the marketplace, such as more gangs amongst other things. Perhaps they will.Rallos wrote:it's a pity it wasn't expanded on more.
Small font=spoilerz
In the end, you find out that the Agency supported all of the gangs, and plans on creating a dictatorship or something along those lines. "The only way humanity will accept total control is after experiencing total anarchy."<--something like that.
So basically...more gangs wouldn't really make sense.

BUMP!
You care? Then write an angry letter to me, then put it in a pipe, smoke it, and snort the ashes, sneeze them out and mix it with warm milk and vodka and drink it.
I'm still thinking whether or not I should buy crackdown...I just dont want to spend money if I'll get over it quickly...I purchace GTA only to muck around and so this should be the same thing...But I'm still worried...
So is it worth buying still?

It's fun to play coop and mess around, and there's DLC coming out soon. However, if you don't have live then I would say that it probably isn't worth getting.
Also, here's a glitch I found in the game.

I have found the game to have some glitches as well,
I have in co-op, Fallen through the level ( water water everywhere)
Over by the Shai-gen Tunnel, I have Repeatedly seen Objects Not Load at all. ( and Found some hidden orbs because of it >_> )
Some times Ill see People driving with no car (which makes me giggle every time I see it)
I my self even one time got in one of these "no cars" and Ran people over (which is strangely more fun the usual)
But My Favorite Glitch (or Is it by design >_> ) is that I can make the SUV go Up a 90 Degree angle for a limited time
Now that

I went to buy it today...
However, the world is gay...I go to my local Westfield and find that the places that are offering the discounted crackdown, is not in that local Westfield
So basically I went through every store in the place to find crackdown ranging from $98.50 to $150! Whilst games in Australia are expensive in the first place...I'm not spending over $80...Definatley not $150!
So I'll have to go buy it later

Games in Australia are expensive to begin with...It is quite an odd thing really...
My only thought was that the gaming industry here wasn't too big to begin with...So they thought that nerds or something would by the games anyway and they needed the extra price margin to turn any kind of decent profit here...
Now that the gaming market has expanded dramatically here (Espeically from the wii, breaking new records here), the industry knows that people are still willing to pay the extra dollar on games and thus the games stay at the same price... Except from EA...greedy bastards charge at least $20 extra per game of theirs...So basically, no EA for me...Not missing much, but I pay for fight night...
But still, $80 is the most I'd pay for crackdown, so I gotta find it fast before the price goes up (its a sale) and I lose the h3 beta too...

Woo. Check this shit out guys. I managed to scale the entire agency tower with the SUV. Much easier said than done. Try it some time.
