With Trash Talk for Xbox 360, you can insult your enemies at the push of a button. It's the ultimate weapon to flame, taunt and ridicule your buddies over Xbox Live. Sitting between your game controller and your plug-in headset, Trash Talk gives you a bank of buttons which activate pre-recorded sound clips, letting you assemble your own messages and activate them at will. -- Xbox-Scene

I think I'll cancel my Live subscription now...

You can, of course, record your own taunts and insults to use in the heat of battle. Instead of shouting "gotcha!", or "everybody follow me" down your microphone, you can just press a button and issue exclamations or instructions automatically. If your Xbox 360 microphone's on the blink or you simply haven't got one, by recording the samples on your PC and transferring them to Trash Talk, you can still issue your orders.

But Trash Talk's capable of much more. Why not slip in a soundbite from your favourite film or TV show, to activate during the game? If you're injured, you could utter, "I ain't got time to bleed" in Jessie Ventura's sepulchral growl from Predator. If you're killed, play Arnie's catchline, "I'll be back!". If a talkative opponent is getting on your nerves, play him BA from The A-Team saying, "Shut up, you crazy fool". The possibilities are endless...

Trash Talk for Xbox 360 ($39.99) contains everything you need. There's the Trash Talk unit, a USB cable to connect it to your PC and a PC application with which to manage your sounds. You can store up to 16 samples at a time, and the device has a total storage capacity of one minute. -- Xbox-Scene

Seriously... the second kids get their hands on these, they're gonna be so annoying. It's just gonna be lame, I can see it now.

What do you think, personally... I think it should be banned. If anything, it promotes flaming.

I've already heard someone on live with one. He was playing a clip from a rap song, and it was pretty annoying. It's a neat idea, but based on the typical user of Xbox Live (screaming 12-year old kid), this is just going to make Live a living hell.

I purchased my headset just to leave it plugged in when I play. With the headset plugged in and on the grouhd, I don't have to listen to their nonsense when I play. You ought to try it

You can also mute specific gamertags if you find them annoying but care what others say.

kinda like the [FkN] Spam Configs for CSS. plays select user createable .wavs and plays it over the in game mic. Playing the Tetris Techno Remix and the "F*ck Yuo Myg0t" flash voice never gets old.

I play on xbl with friends and Australians...
I doubt many people here have any clue about xbox-scene's exsistance, let alone the exsistance of that product...
GO ME!

However, it would be a bit of fun for me to have it...Hopefully it doesn't have a timer for when and when you can't press the button = Spam.

But yeah I can see how annoying it would be if someone is just playing a fun game with friends only for some twat to come int going "I'll be back", "I was boooorn ready mutha fuckaaaaaa".... Oh god, they can upload songs in crystal clarity! Get ready for the crazy frog

But atleast the 14 year old you speak of has a developed voice that don't pierce your cerebelum every time they talk. And they don't start fights and trashtalk. ;P Unlike 18 year old english people with the name Geo ;P.

Geo talks big because when someone taunts, "Meet me in the parking lot after the match.." he can respond with, "Alright then there chap. Pay for me lorry ride to the airport and plane ticket to the states. Talley ho!"

You can disable voice output on an Xbox too...

You can disable voice output on an Xbox too...

Not on XBC or Xlink. I don't beleive chad has Xbox Live. ;x.
