It's not about rock, it's about the game. I always thought of the idea to create a modified version of the guitar so you could play bass, or an actual size guitar created out of the real deal. My buddy is a Bass Guitarist, and he really liked Guitar Hero, but was always put off because he couldn't play proper base with it.
